Resort Massage & Spa Training

The training we provide for Resort Spa staff is based on our experience as resort and spa managers, practising and qualified therapists and as instructors and teachers with many years experience in a variety of learning environments .

We work on site. Our experience in providing training for Spa staff at Paradise Resort, Taveuni Island, Fiji since 2008 has convinced us that the best training can be provided on site. Each site is unique and has specific requirements. We prefer to prepare staff for the many variables that occur in each specific Resort and Spa environment

Swedish Massage is the worldwide standard for relaxing and rejuvenating bodywork. We provide an intensive, 5 day, 40 hour program for Swedish Massage. The instructional program includes all practical work, the anatomy and physiology theory associated with healthy massage and essential occupational health and safety knowledge. In addition and as an integral aspect of this training we provide 12 hours of supervised, clinical practice for each trainee.

Deep Tissue Massage is an added component of the massage training we provide. Our experience has shown us that some guests enjoy and/or request massage that focuses on particular muscle groups that are causing them discomfort. We provide Deep Tissue Massage training to staff who are already confident and experienced massage therapists. This training is a 2 day, 16 hour program. In addition, we provide 4 hours of supervised, clinical practice for each trainee.
